Applefest Returns for 35th Year

(Batesville, IN) – The  community is invited to a weekend of fall fun at the 35th annual Batesville Kiwanis Applefest on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at Liberty Park in Batesville. Applefest will feature food, apple-inspired treats, arts and crafts vendors, live music, children’s activities, train rides, demonstrations and family-friendly entertainment, according to organizers with Batesville Kiwanis. Highlights will include a wood-turning demonstration on Saturday and the Applefest Pageant on Sunday. The Cincinnati Scenic Railway will also make a special stop in Batesville on Sunday, bringing approximately 300 guests to enjoy Applefest and visit the Batesville community.
