New Report Leaks Another iOS 27 Change
Alongside iOS 27 and other software updates, Apple plans to unveil a modernized "Core AI" framework at WWDC 2026, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. "Core AI" will succeed Apple's existing "Core ML" on-device machine learning framework. "The switch from 'ML' to 'AI' is significant," said Gurman, in his Power On newsletter today. "Apple knows that 'machine learning' is a dated term that no longer resonates with developers or consumers.
According to a report, Apple will rethink its AI approach for developers. Core ML is followed by Core AI, using more modern methods.
