Apple Updates Trade-In Values for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch
Apple raised trade-in offers for several iPhone and iPad models, while some Mac, Watch and Android estimates moved lower.
Apple updated its estimated trade-in values on Wednesday for various Apple products, including the Mac and Apple Watch, raising offers for many newer devices while adjusting others downward.
Adjustments to trade-in values included decreases for some products, including Android phones and the Mac Pro, as the top-end Mac Pro estimate dropped from $2,090 to $2,045.
The Pro Max offer rose from $685 to $695, and the Pro top-tier estimate increased to $690 from $670, while the Mac trade-in value climbed to $375 from $340.
Apple notes that the actual value provided upon inspection depends on the "condition, year, and configuration" of the device; these figures remain estimates, not final offers.
Researching other marketplaces is worth the effort, as third-party outlets may offer more than these official Apple trade-in estimates, though customers can apply savings toward new purchases.
