APC To Begin Presidential Campaign In Kaduna On October 24, Says Yari
The party says the rally will mobilize hundreds of thousands of supporters and advance a two-million-vote target for Tinubu in the state.
The All Progressives Congress will officially begin President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign with a rally in Kaduna State on October 24, 2026, launching its drive for the 2027 general elections.
Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, said President Tinubu approved the campaign schedule following the council's inauguration on Wednesday, October 14, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Kaduna State Publicity Secretary Muhammad Sani said the state is prepared to host the rally. "We also want to assure Mr President that visitors to Kaduna State will see a peaceful, united, and harmonious state," Sani said.
Mobilizing under Governor Uba Sani, the party targets securing two million votes in Kaduna State for the President during the 2027 election, reflecting a favorable political atmosphere.
Arguing that winning requires broad regional support, Senator Yari predicted a landslide victory, claiming the APC controls more than 10 states in both the North and South of Nigeria.
