AOT Strengthens Thailand’s Global Air Links at Routes World 2026
AOT said the meetings could open new services and frequencies, with recent 2026 route launches including London-Phuket, Riyadh-Bangkok and Warsaw-Bangkok.
AOT President Paweena Jariyathitipong led a delegation to Routes World 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany, from October 21 to 23, meeting with more than 50 airlines to expand Thailand's global aviation connectivity.
AOT's wider strategy aims to enhance Thailand's role as a regional aviation hub while supporting continued growth in international passenger traffic.
During the event, AOT held business meetings with airline and airport partners to explore new route opportunities, increase flight frequencies, and strengthen commercial cooperation.
AOT marked the launch of three new international services: Virgin Atlantic's London-Phuket route, Riyadh Air's Riyadh-Bangkok connection, and LOT Polish Airlines' Warsaw-Bangkok service.
These new services aim to improve access to Thailand from key international markets, strengthening connectivity between the country and destinations across Europe and the Middle East.
