ANWB, Consumers' Association warn of serious defects in two baby car seats
The Dutch motorists' organization ANWB and the Consumers Association are warning for severe deficiencies on two baby car chairs: the Britax Romer Baby-Safe Pro with Vario Base 5Z and the Axkid Minikid Core. The Axkid and Britax Römer car seats fail in the crash test. A seat-shell flew through the vehicle depending on the setting. Also with the others in an accident threatens life-threatening injuries. The testers strongly advise against using it further.
Two child seats have shown serious weaknesses in the ADAC crash test: belt locks fail, a support foot unlocks. One model has already been recalled, while the other has a safe alternative to use.
