ANU Emeritus Professor Will Steffen dies
Climate Commissioner and co-director of the Canberra Urban and Regional Futures initiative, ANU Emeritus Professor Will Steffen has died overnight. Born in the US in 1947, Steffen completed a BSc in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Missouri in 1970. Steffen moved to Canberra in 1977 to do post-doctorate research at ANU followed by a decade at the CSIRO.
