António Costa Meets This Thursday with Montenegro in San Bento to Discuss the Next EU Budget

The meeting is taking place on a journey that Costa is making through all European capitals to discuss with the EU Heads of State and Government the next Community budget, which will cover the period 2028 to 2034.
Luís Montenegro will receive António Costa at 9 p.m. for a dinner in San Bento, the official residence of the Prime Minister.
This is the third time that it has made a tour of the capitals of the bloc of 27 - after similar initiatives in 2024 and 2025 - the President of the European Council intends to pass through all the Member States until 17 September, with the exception of Sweden, which holds legislative elections next Sunday.
