The head of the Ministry of Justice announced the submission of a motion to waive Macierewicz’s immunity in a post on the X platform.
Today I have submitted a motion to the Sejm to lift the immunity of MP Antoni Macierewicz, informed the head of the Ministry of Justice, Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar.
The fate of the immunity of former Minister of National Defense Antoni Macierewicz is hanging in the balance. The Prosecutor General has submitted a letter to the Sejm requesting consent to bring criminal charges against the MP. According to Adam Bodnar, the PiS politician is responsible for irregularities in the work of the Smolensk subcommittee.
