Japan’s Mythos Response ’Must Involve Big Tech,’ Says LDP Cybersecurity Chief

- Cloudflare's chief security officer Grant Bourzikas demonstrated how the model chains low-severity bugs into severe exploits. Anthropic stated that as the program matured, it adapted agreements to ensure key information can be shared broadly.
- Partners may now disclose findings to security teams, regulators, and the public, subject to responsible-disclosure norms. An Anthropic spokesperson noted that confidentiality protections were originally built into agreements at the request of partners.
- Democratic Representative Josh Gottheimer previously urged Anthropic to remove contractual restrictions on warning others about cyber risks. Meanwhile, OpenAI launched a similar, less secretive program called Daybreak, allowing broader access to its cybersecurity model.
