Berlin, 14 Mar (EFEverde).- Germany has reduced by 2024 its greenhouse gas emissions by 3.4% compared to 2023, to 649 million tonnes, so it has met its annual target, as reported on Friday by the Federal Environment Agency (UBA), an organ under the Ministry of Economy. According to German law for climate protection, by 2024 Germany could reach 693.4 million tonnes of greenhouse gases.
