JKN Global chief handed 2 years in absentia
The Bangkok South Kwaeng Court has sentenced Jakkaphong "Anne" Jakrajutatip, founder of JKN Global Group, to two years' imprisonment without suspension after finding her guilty of fraud involving a 30‑million‑baht corporate bond investment. The ruling was delivered in absentia after she failed to appear in court and remains at large.
(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Thai businesswoman Anne Jakrajutatip - former CEO of the Miss Universe Organization - has been sentenced to two years in prison, without probation, in a bond fraud case worth 30 million baht (over 25 billion VND).
The Bangkok South District Court sentenced Ann Chakrapong to 2 years in prison without suspension of sentence for defrauding a doctor of over 30 million baht by tricking him into buying debentures. She is a fugitive, and an arrest warrant has been issued to enforce the sentence. On December 26, 2025, at the Bangkok South District Court on Charoen Krung Road, the court delivered its verdict in case number A.
