Tate brothers exploited women using 'lover boy' model, UK alleges
British prosecutors say the brothers used romance and threats to control women, and court filings add 59 charges including rape and sex trafficking.
- On Sunday, British prosecutors filed extradition documents in Miami federal court detailing 42 charges against Andrew Tate, including rape, human trafficking, and possession of extreme pornography.
- Investigators allege Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, utilized a 'lover boy' model to lure vulnerable women to Romania with promises of romantic relationships before coercing them into producing online pornography.
- Evidence from 'Operation Lagetto' includes 168 indecent images of a minor on devices seized in 2015, while prosecutors claim Tate possessed 'extreme pornography' depicting sexual intercourse with animals.
- Defense attorney Joseph McBride has challenged the extradition, arguing the accusations cannot be 'meaningfully tested' because the complainants remain unidentified. McBride insists 'No American court should be asked to surrender a person to a foreign country on the word of secret accusers.'
- The Tate brothers remain in custody in Miami while contesting the proceedings. Both men have denied all allegations, maintaining their interactions with women were consensual throughout the investigation period.
