Amur Minerals H1 Earnings Call Highlights
On Monday, Airtel Money reported revenue of $830 million for the six months to end-September, up 25.1% from a year earlier in constant currency, in its maiden results.
Following an IPO earlier this month, the African fintech achieved a roughly 5.3 billion valuation, marking the largest London Stock Exchange listing since 2021.
Profit after tax reached $228 million, up from $188 million, while Airtel Money's customer base expanded 18.7% to 56.7 million, driving mobile money penetration of Airtel Africa's telco base to 42.9%.
Chief Executive Ian Basil Ferrao announced an interim dividend of 6.4 cents per share, calling the oversubscribed listing a "landmark achievement" for Airtel Money.
Growth prospects remain strong, with around 75 million existing Airtel telco subscribers not yet using Airtel Money, providing the firm a significant runway for future expansion.
