The Se Acabó la Fiesta (SALF) MEP, Luis 'Alvise' Pérez, admitted before the Supreme Court having received 100,000 euros from businessman Álvaro Romillo, alias 'CryptoSpain', but denied having used the money for his campaign in the European elections of June 9, 2024. "Not a single euro of Mr. Romillo's went to pay for the campaign," he asserted, stating that most of the expenses "were made before" he received the amount in question.
