Alvin Kent Lanier, 81, of Augusta, KS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at home. Kent was born in Alton, IL on December 31, 1943, to the late Alta Lee (Moore) and Jesse Alvin Lanier. His family settled in Alabama where he attended Demopolis High School and was a star athlete.
