Seit mehr als 40 Jahren werden mutige Persönlichkeiten und Organisationen mit dem Right Livelihood Award ausgezeichnet, die sich für Menschenrechte, Umwelt und Frieden einsetzen.

The aid organization SOS Méditerranée, environmentalists from Cambodia and activists from Ghana and Kenya have received the Right Livelihood Award in Stockholm. Three representatives from Mother Nature Cambodia, women's rights activist Eunice Brookman-Amissah from Ghana, Kenyan environmentalist Phyllis Omido and Caroline Abu Sa'da from SOS Méditerranée in Switzerland accepted the awards known as Alternative Nobel Prizes on Wednesday.
