KINGFIELD, ME. - On Friday afternoon, the UVM Alpine team opened their 2026 EISA season competing in Day one of the Colby Carnival in Kingfield, Maine from Sugarloaf Mountain. Friday's competition was the Slalom race with the Catamounts finishing the day overall in third place with 177 points. Cydnie Timmermann shined for Vermont, earning her first podium finish of the season placing second overall.
