The Syrian Armed Forces have reported firing at their troops by members of the Lebanese Shia militia Hezbollah outside the town of Sergaya, near the Lebanese border, in the south-west of Syria, and have also warned of the group's arrival of reinforcements on the border between the two countries.

The Syrian army reported that they had detected Hezbollah reinforcements arriving in the border area between the countries and were conducting observations and situation assessments.
