Russian archaeologists described the coin treasure, the first parts of which were accidentally found in the Kaluga region in 2023, which consisted of 97 Roman denarii, taken away in the second half of I — the end of the second century C.E.; however, according to an article published in the Journal of Ancient History, the treasure itself appears to have been hidden much later — possibly at the turn of the fourth and fifth centuries.
