While farmers collapse roads as protests and Europe issues two alerts in less than a month for Moroccan strawberries infected with hepatitis A, a report reveals that Almeria-based companies have significantly increased Moroccan product imports in the last decade. In the 2013-2024 period, the province increased by 971.5% the purchase of peppers from the neighboring country, 523.1% for tomatoes, or 3,193.3% for watermelons.
