Alleged People's Place vandal arrested, Kingston police say

When it comes to free speech, say it, don’t spray it — at least not directly in front of a surveillance camera. Kingston police announced the arrest of Benjamin P. Lawrence, 29, on a felony charge of criminal mischief in the third degree in connection with graffiti sprayed on a mural outside of People’s Place in Kingston. Police say Lawrence caused over $250 worth of damage when he allegedly spray-painted crude tags on the side of the building. …
