Ali Jaques hired as Campbell's women's basketball coach
Jaques brings nearly three decades of coaching experience after helping Rhode Island set a program record with 28 wins.
Campbell hired Ali Jaques as women's basketball coach on Friday, following her role as associate head coach at Rhode Island during the program's record 28-win season.
Jaques brings extensive experience, having coached at George Washington and Seton Hall in recent years following a nine-season tenure as head coach at Siena.
The Campbell women's basketball program finished the past season with a 20-12 overall record, including a 13-5 mark in the CAA conference.
Tammi Reiss, who coached Jaques at Rhode Island and now leads Florida, expressed confidence: "Ali is ready to lead her own program."
Before coaching, Jaques played soccer and basketball at New York University, where she helped lead the team to the 1997 Division III basketball title.
