Alec Bladwin broke his silence on the court’s stunning decision to dismiss the involuntary manslaughter charges against him in an emotional Instagram post Saturday.
A court in New Mexico dismissed the involuntary manslaughter charge against actor Alec Baldwin due to police and prosecutorial misconduct in handling evidence. Baldwin faced charges following the death of a cinematographer and injury of a director during filming of Rust. AP agency called the court's decision surprising on Saturday.
Soudkyně v Novém Mexiku zamítla obžalobu proti americkému herci Aleku Baldwinovi, který byl obviněn z neúmyslného zabití v souvislosti se střelbou při natáčení westernu Rust. The actor's lawyers were not familiar with the discovery of sharp bullets at the scene of the shooting. The late discovery of this evidence, according to the judge, made it impossible to use them effectively and affected the fairness of the proceedings.
