Albanian ex-President Ilir Meta charged with corruption and money laundering

The Special Prosecution Office for the Fight against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) announced today that it has filed an indictment against former Albanian President and Freedom Party leader Ilir Meta, as well as his ex-wife Monika Kriemadi, for corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.
