The Alaska Highway is closed at km 668, west of Fort Nelson. FORT NELSON, B.C. — Motorists driving towards the Yukon are being advised that the Alaska Highway is closed between Fort Nelson and the Liard River. Highway 97 is currently closed in both directions at kilometre 668, north of Toad River, 190km west of Fort Nelson.
