WWE's AJ Lee Opens up About Her in-Ring Future
Fightful Select reported sources believe AJ Lee still has more WWE matches ahead as she says any return must fit a new storyline.
- On August 26, Fightful Select reported that former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee has not wrestled her final match, despite last competing at WrestleMania 42 on April 18.
- Lee ended a 10-year hiatus in September 2025, assisting Punk against Seth Rollins and Lynch before competing in WarGames and holding the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42.
- During a recent appearance on the Mind Over Mountain podcast, Lee clarified she is 'story-driven' and might be ready for an in-ring comeback only if the story demands it.
- Filling her days outside the ring, the former Divas Champion wrote on Instagram she is 'learning to play d&d, watching my big head on a big screen, writing with my sister wives, borrowing puppies, and gaining five pounds in happy carbs.'
- WWE fans would undoubtedly welcome Lee back in the near future, and observers suggest any potential match would be, as Sheamus says, 'a banger,' keeping the conversation alive.
