Airport Rail Link service at one hour intervals
The Airport Rail Link that connects Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Thailand’s main airport, and inner Bangkok is operating only one train as its railway turntable broke down on Wednesday. The train is operating at one-hour intervals.
The Airport Rail Link has experienced a malfunction and cannot be moved from the maintenance depot. Only one train is operating at a frequency of one hour. The Department of Rail Transport is urgently arranging additional trains. The BMTA (Bangkok Mass Transit Authority) and SRT (State Railway of Thailand) advise passengers at Suvarnabhumi Airport to allow extra time.
