Air Canada announced yesterday that Montréal–Palma de Mallorca will be the first new aircraft to be operated by an Airbus A321 XLR (extra-long range). The delivery of the fleet of A321XLR aircraft will begin in the first quarter of 2026 and, in June 2026, Air Canada will launch service from Montreal to the Spanish island of the Western Mediterranean on one of these new aircraft.
