AIC women's rugby team wins national title, dethroning Brown University

The American International College women's rugby team dominated the National Collegiate Rugby's 2026 National 7s College Rugby Championship, winning the title with a 24-7 victory over Brown University.

Women's Rugby Falls to No. 1 AIC in CRC 7s Championship Game

BOYDS, Md. – The Brown women's rugby team (18-11) advanced to the championship game of the Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC) National 7s Tournament on Sunday, but fell to No. 1 AIC in the title game at the Maryland Soccerplex. The Bears defeated No. 3 Navy, 24-0, to clinch their fourth consecutive title appearance, before ending the season with a 24-7 setback to AIC.
