The festival will feature over 140 acts across rock, punk, and metal genres with camping introduced for the first time, aiming to boost local business and tourism.
- Wednesday, Aftershock Festival released its 2026 lineup featuring headliners My Chemical Romance, Tool, Pierce The Veil and Limp Bizkit for the Oct. 1-4 event at Discovery Park, Sacramento, with tickets on sale at aftershockfestival.com starting at $1 down.
- As part of the expansion, organizers announced this year’s Aftershock will add a fifth stage and introduce official camping and RV options at Cal Expo.
- Beyond the headliners, the lineup spans hip-hop, metal, punk and alt-rock with $UICIDEBOY$, Queens of the Stone Age, The Offspring and Danny Elfman, while Day 2 stacks Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill and includes a mystery guest.
- Organizers reported more than 164,000 fans attended from all 50 states and more than 30 countries, generating more than $35 MILLION over four days.
- A complicating factor is Metallica’s Sphere residency in Las Vegas the same weekend, while Aftershock, billed as the West Coast's largest rock, punk and metal festival, adds Cantina del Diablo and Overtime sports bar.
