After uptick in deadly crashes on Western Slope roads, Colorado lawmakers advance bill increasing penalties for driving violations

Senate Bill 35 would double license points for unsafe passing and increase penalties for repeat speeders to reduce fatal crashes on Colorado’s mountain roads, officials said.
