As part of the presidential initiative to grow 100 million trees, the Cairo Climate Change Adaptation Project launched one of its activities in the Amiriyah neighbourhood by planting 1,000 trees, with support from the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF/SGP) and the implementation of the Egyptian Youth Society for Development and the Environment, in cooperation with the Amiriya neighbourhood and Cairo governorate.
