Emboldened by its win in Saxony-Anhalt, the far-right Alternative for Germany wants the government to change its Ukraine and Russia policies. Berlin is staying the course, but support is fading — especially in the east.
The leader of the far-right AfD party, Alice Weidel, has said that Germany should completely stop financial and military support for Ukraine. She also supported the demand to return the funds provided to Ukraine.
