Hunter, Hernandez Gray Highlight Canada’s Roster for U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland
The 21-player squad includes six alternates as Canada prepares to face England, Brazil and Tanzania in Group B.
Head coach Cindy Tye named Canada's 21-player roster for the U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland, which runs from Sept. 5 through 27.
The Canadians earned their tournament berth at the 2025 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship, where the country secured its third regional title.
Tye's squad features three goalkeepers, five defenders, eight midfielders, and five forwards, with six alternates traveling to Poland to assist preparations.
Staff and players gather in Lublin, Poland, on Aug. 23, moving to Bielsko-Biala on Aug. 30 for a closed-door match against Spain on Aug. 31.
Competing in Group B, Canada faces England on Sept. 5, Brazil on Sept. 8, and Tanzania on Sept. 11 to complete the group stage.
