According to an emergency update from the Turkish AFAD, the earthquake occurred in the Gemlik region of Bursa.
The Gemlik district of Bursa was shaken by three separate earthquakes in 48 hours. The earthquakes, with magnitudes of 3.9, 4.2 and 4.3, brought the activity on the southern branch of the North Anatolian Fault back to the agenda.
