Adirondack Park Agency moves ahead on hearing, without applicant

A Lake Luzerne man seeking a rare amendment to the Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map, has asked the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) to withdraw his proposal for now, but the agency said no. The proposed map amendment, which is currently out for public comment, and the subject of a public meeting on Thursday, would reclassify about 197 acres in Lake Luzerne near the area of Lake Vanare to allow for more development.
