Adidas Lifts Profit View After U.S. Tariff Refunds, Record Quarterly Performance
The German sportswear maker lifted its 2026 operating profit target after record quarterly revenue and a 200 million euro U.S. tariff refund.
On Tuesday, Adidas raised its full-year profit outlook to 2.5 billion euros after reporting record third-quarter operating profit of $1.1 billion, a 37% increase from the prior year.

CEO Bjorn Gulden stated, "We achieved the highest revenue ever in a quarter and the highest operating profit ever," highlighting record third-quarter revenues of 7.25 billion euros.
Reinvesting around 100 million euros in the fourth quarter, Adidas aims to strengthen operating leverage while maintaining mid-term profitability targets aligned with its strategic growth plan.
The company will publish full financial results on October 29; Gulden acknowledged lifestyle footwear challenges but expects the market to "soon normalize" as demand stabilizes.

Adidas is in the lead of success. The three-strip brand has never achieved as much in a quarter as last year and has also increased strongly in earnings.

The company from Herzogenaurach, Franconian, raised its forecast for operating profit this year by 200 million euros to around 2.5 billion euros on Tuesday evening, benefiting Adidas from the around 200 million [...]
