Designed to supplement the income of some wage earners with modest resources, the activity premium could again see its calculation changed in the context of the 2027 budget. And to the detriment of some beneficiaries.
The government will change the calculation of the premium. The employer's share of supplementary health care and foresight will now be integrated, resulting in a possible slight decrease for some beneficiaries.
The government plans to include employers' contributions for pensions and health care in the income taken into account for the calculation of the employment premium, which could lead to a fall in the number of employees.
In calculating the activity premium, consideration will be given to the employer's financing of the supplementary health care, foresight, and the additional retirement of the employee, which could mechanically lead to a "slight drop" in the premium for some beneficiaries.
The government plans to include three employers' contributions to income for the purpose of calculating the activity premium, and some payments could be reduced without an increase in the available wage, which would add to the freeze on revalorisation planned for April 2027.
