The Supreme Court (OGH) has declared six of eight contractual clauses related to Amazon Prime illegal. The lawsuit was filed by the Association of Consumer Protection (VKI) on behalf of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Due to illegal contractual clauses in Prime memberships, the Association for Consumer Information (VKI) has sued the Internet giant Amazon. The Supreme Court has now declared six out of eight contested clauses relating to right of withdrawal, payment methods and termination illegal.
