Three individuals, including a District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) and a health inspector in Rangareddy district, Hyderabad, have been arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh. The bribe was demanded for returning seized property, preventing action against an unlicensed physiotherapy centre, and issuing a new license.
A corruption case has created a stir in the Rangareddy District Medical and Health Department office. The seizure imposed on the physiotherapy center has been lifted and a new license has been granted.
