According to a statement by the Israeli Association of Doctors for Human Rights, on Wednesday, the Palestinian doctor captured Hassam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal Asad Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, said that Israeli jailers continued to beat him, deliberately depriving him of sleep, and threatened to prevent him from passing information on the conditions of his detention to his lawyer.
