‘Absurd’: CBA slugged 13 years of fees for inactive card

CBA said the $1,040 refund was a goodwill gesture after it found 13 years of annual fees had been charged on a corporate card facility.

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia charged a customer 13 years of fees for a credit card he had cancelled in 2010, and failed to realise that it was taking the money when the man got in touch after spotting the charges.
