No persecution, just prayer. The First Criminal Court of Vitoria-Gasteiz has found 21 people who held anti-abortion rallies in front of the Askabide clinic in Vitoria-Gasteiz not guilty. Askabide will appeal the verdict in the Provincial Court of Álava.
The 21 people who were tried for concentrating at the Askabide Clinic in Gasteiz for eight days in 2022 have been acquitted.
The 21 anti-abortionists tried last November for a crime of coercion after having concentrated in 2022 to pray before the Askabide clinic of the Alavesa capital, which practices involuntary terminations of pregnancy, have been acquitted.
