Power outages reported across southern Ontario after thunderstorms

Many communities across southern Ontario woke up to power outages Wednesday. Thunderstorms and strong winds hit much of southern Ontario Tuesday afternoon and evening. Winds of up to 110 km/h with a tornado risk were forecast. The power was out in parts of Toronto Wednesday morning including areas in North York, north Etobicoke and Scarborough.
