A16 towards Breda closed after small truck catches fire

The A16 was closed for a short time in the direction of Breda on Wednesday afternoon around a quarter to four. A small truck caught fire between the Klaverpolder junction and the Zonzeel junction. The fire brigade quickly extinguished the fire. It is still unclear why the vehicle caught fire. No other vehicles were involved in the fire. Traffic towards Breda was diverted via the A15, A29, A59 and the A17.
