A worker was injured on Saturday afternoon after being buried under a pile of earth in a construction pit in the Brussels municipality of Schaerbeek. This was reported by the Brussels fire department. The victim was taken to the hospital but was not in life-threatening condition.
A construction accident occurred in Schaerbeek. While a worker was doing work in a pit about three metres deep in the garden of a house, he found himself half buried in the ground after the fall of a stratified beam.
