The Samarsk Regional Court cancelled the registration in the elections of the current CLCF MP, Mikhail Matveyev, and informed the Court's press service that his candidature had previously been withdrawn by a member of the Party of Retired Persons, an opponent of Matveyev's single-member district in Samara province, Anna Sarantsev, who had accused the parliamentarian of "gross violation" of electoral and intellectual property laws.
