The red seal has a history of almost 4,000 years. It is shown by a discovery made in southeastern Iran, in the Jiroft region of Kerman province, where archaeologists have brought to light a small, cylindrical bottle made of chlorite-schist, containing a remarkable substance similar to modern wax.
