A new Kuukkeli in Saariselkä will rise on the ruins of a shopping centre that burned down two years ago — it will be ready at the end of September

Saariselkä's ski holiday season began dramatically two years ago when a fierce fire burned down the village's only shop. Now two years later, the new Kuukkeli is under construction and on schedule.
